1. Who controls your data

SocialPro Media LLC, 1420 Harbor Street, Suite 300, Portland, OR 97209, is the controller of personal information collected through socialpro.com. Contact our privacy lead at privacy@socialpro.com.

2. What we collect

  • Information you give us. Name, email address, phone number, company, budget range, service interests and the content of your message when you use our contact form.
  • Information collected automatically. IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring site, gathered through server logs and privacy-respecting analytics.
  • Cookies. A session cookie needed to run the site securely, plus analytics cookies you can decline without losing any functionality.

3. Why we use it

  • To answer your enquiry and prepare the audit you requested.
  • To provide and improve our services under a contract with you.
  • To keep the site secure and to detect abuse.
  • To send occasional marketing email, only where you have opted in. Every message has a one-click unsubscribe.

4. Legal bases

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent (marketing email, analytics cookies), the performance of a contract (delivering our services), and our legitimate interest in running and securing our business.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with processors who help us operate: our email provider, our CRM, our hosting provider and our analytics provider. Each is bound by a data processing agreement. We also disclose information where the law requires it.

6. International transfers

Our providers are primarily in the United States. Where personal data moves out of the UK or EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

7. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become clients are deleted after 24 months. Client records are kept for seven years after the engagement ends, to satisfy tax and contractual obligations. Server logs are kept for 90 days.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal information, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Residents of California may also ask what we have collected and opt out of any sharing. Email privacy@socialpro.com and we will respond within 30 days. We will never treat you differently for exercising a right.

9. Security

The site runs over HTTPS. Access to enquiry data is restricted to staff who need it, protected by multi-factor authentication, and reviewed quarterly.

10. Children

This site is for business users and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.

11. Changes

If we change this policy materially we will post the revised version here and update the date above. See also our Terms of Use.
